    [Football] FA Cup quarter-finals

Looks like it could be the first ever repeat of a Wembley cup final. I don't think it's happened in the last 100 years or so.

    [Football] Meanwhile in Turkey…

Well it wouldn't be bottle tops would it ?

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

He's a brilliant player, but clearly not right at the moment. There is no way we could afford to bring him in and no way he would take such a huge cut in wages to play for us.

[Albion] So, how much did Europe cost you?

Europe cost me about £15, which is my monthly TNT subscription as part of the wider Virgin package. I even walked to all the grounds (8 feet from the office chair to the sofa). Bargain, would do it all over again.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Very much so. Violent action is only acceptable to defend yourself or others. I'd extend that to say that it is also acceptable if there is a reasonable fear it is about to occur but hasn't yet. There aren't really any other circumstances accepting those that people like to create in their own...

[Cricket] Sussex CCC - 2024 edition

Having believed that the only two famous people who shared my birthday were Michael Caine and Father Christmas, I discovered yesterday that I share a birthday with Test cricket. I then genuinely wondered which of us would outlast the other.

That was Agnes, Ethel's was the damp one.

I've not had mine yet. I'd like the handbook too. Not sure how I get that.

    Life of Brian - superb

'Blessed are the Palace fans' 'Oh, that's nice. I'm glad they're getting something. They've had one hell of a time'

[Albion] First albion experience going with your mates to an away game and staying the night

My first overnight stay was in Newcastle before a match in 1990. We woke up after the evening out and the match had been postponed. Ended up spending a mint just to watch Tottenham v Sunderland in London the following day.

Sourced this beauty as a birthday present to myself this week. The original shirt from 1993.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

I wouldn't say I was a tosser in my 20s, more of a twat. But as I've got older I've become a more articulate twat. Twatism is very under-rated.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Such a dirty drug. Much better when they were all on MDNA. They even clapped the away attendance announcement.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Some folk are just weird. Turn up at the game, meet others, have a sing song, cheer the Albion on and then go home. Is this marching powder thing not just a young craze ? The worst I saw in the ESU was Ethel swinging her knickers at Calderon.

[Albion] Was the Referee’s performance v Roma the best we have seen at The Amex?

Possibly the best for us. Ruling out a perfectly good goal in the first half for them. He did seem to set his stall against their dark arts but there was only so far he could go. General decision making seemed good both ways. Lamptey's card was a bit harsh mind. The Arsenal v Porto ref in the...

[Albion] Gut feeling - RDZ staying or going after this season?

Well, yes. We forget that Sean Dyche took Burnley to two top ten finishes and a visit to Europe (and seems to have the wood on RDZ as well) I'd rather him stay. I like his approach. I think a fit Albion squad as it stands is top 7-10 under a decent manager. But I don't see RDZ as the Messiah...

[Albion] Gut feeling - RDZ staying or going after this season?

I'll be honest here. I don't know if it's safe not to put the tin hat on or not. There is no doubt he has been good for us. None at all. But I am tired of his statements sometimes as I have an absolute devotion to Tony and what he has done for us. I am conscious that this strategy has got us to...

[Albion] Let's hear from Paul, he's a Brighton fan

The strangest ones are the folk who text in with their analysis of a match that they didn't attend.
