Wow. You have clearly had a different experience there than me. I would prefer to go to Selhurst Park and that is also one of my least favourite grounds. I am lucky enough to have been to more than 200 grounds worldwide, so I have plenty to compare it against. Each to their own I suppose.
You’ve got to be kidding me. Horrible ground, horrible fans, horrible club, horrible area. If PB is taking a reduced allocation, he’s trying to save 1,500 more from an awful experience.
Been there several times, won’t be rushing back.
Just had a quick look at Newcastle tickets and there are not too many options for other than single seats. Pardon my ignorance but is this before the Ticket Exchange has opened? Not sure I want to pay £75 for the Heineken Lounge, which is just about all that’s available, so if the Ticket...
Thanks. They are actually mobile tickets - not sure if they can download onto their phones or if I would have to lend them my phone? The tickets haven’t been downloaded yet, I just have the link on an email.
Just reading this thread, I am a member this season (previously STH). There is a game coming up for which I have 2 tickets but I can’t now go. My sister and brother in law are happy to use them, I probably won’t charge them, but now I’m not sure if giving them these tickets is problem for them...
I am going tomorrow but it’s my first game for a while. I caught Covid quite badly in the summer despite having had 2 jabs, and ended up in the Royal Sussex with things looking a bit dicey for me for a while. I pulled through, just, but knew that I wouldn’t be going to football regularly for a...
It makes you think what should they announce as the gate?
The number of people actually there, however that is counted?
The number of seats for which they made a sale, ie capacity?
Capacity minus the tickets still available, so minus 1k?
The number of tickets sold, which technically could be...
I’ve only been there as a neutral before, or to see England when Wembley was being re-built. I had decent seats then to be fair, in terms of the view, but it helps in terms of comfort if your legs are on the short side of short. Those seats are not actually designed to be sat in for any length...
I’m actually up in that neck of the woods anyway that weekend. Especially now that it’s an early kick off, what are our chances of getting a couple of tickets for this game in the members priority sale? I am thinking that the kick off time and stupid o’clock departure time might put a few off...
No, just know someone who might be playing there later in the season.
In the old Goldstone days it was quite easy to watch things like the Southern Junior Floodlit Cup, etc. I guess with the training facility staging these games now it’s a bit more difficult especially now with Covid but even...
No, just know someone who plays occasionally. In the old days at the Goldstone you could wander in to reserve or Southern Junior Floodlit Cup games no problem, but I guess it’s not so easy now.
I have sent an email to the club just in case it’s possible later in the season.
