    Odd choice.

    Palace

I guess I must be. :) Missing the first game of the season to attend my sons wedding definitely trumps having a season ticket since 1968.

    Palace

I doubt it very much, it wasn't so much a holiday, it was for my youngest son's wedding. Way more important than football actually. :)

    Palace

Sadly not, I've been away with my family at a chateau we hired in the south of France and have only just got back. No internet or phone signal down there and I didn't even know the result until Monday. Reading here and the BBS, it looks like I missed a dreadful start to the season to say the...

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

Admittedly this place was so much better before all the newbie keyboard warriors infested the place, but that's no reason for me to leave. :)

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

As always an excellent post from El Presedente whom I respect enormously for his knowledge regarding football finances. I'm off to hunt out a dunces cap and a corner to sit in.

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

Is it worth mentioning that Palace's creditors also came to an independent pragmatic legal agreement and voted overwhelmingly in favour of the company voluntary arrangement (CVA)? ;)

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

You genuinely thought a 15 year old has been a member of NSC for over 13 years? :D

Not even to cover the millions you've lost every year?

Arsenal legend Tony Adams strikes £200m deal to buy Crystal Palace (says Daily Star)

No. I was able to pay my mortgage and do everything I wanted without the need for a generous benefactor helping me out financially every year. So yes I lived within my means.

None of which was paid for by living 'within your means' though, was it? Which was the only point I was questioning.
