I loved the Menus.....but have you got any idea how long it takes to get just a pre-cooked Pie at the Amex?
With our present Caterers, and those choices, you'd need to order on Friday for a Saturday game, and then not get fed until after halftime. :)
What are you on? In the very short time he was at Burnley his acquisitions included Charlie Austin, Danny Ings, Tyrell and Vokes. And The Muff had to pay substantial reimbursement to Burnley for his release. Hardly a spectacular failure!
I've read the thread and agree with it all. And note the decent and incredibly accurate assessment by our 'Tractor Boy' friend. Bearing in mind he's not privy to all that's been discussed by us Seagulls, he's done well to pinpoint so many of our frustrations.
It's been said by so many, and I'm...
Not to mention Gary Barlow (though I just have :)) . Who couldn't spend the cash he already had if he lived to be 150..without the help of my Mrs. But still felt the desire to weasel around paying his tax morally.
Often the way that those that have most, have an extended desire to increase it...
I just love this time in each seasons Comp. Where being alphabetical elevates my status. Think I'll change my name to "Aardvark"
(Sorry Mr Bear, my soon to be arriving dementia prevented me heaping due praise on your Summer Seasons efforts. Thank you. )
Their performance today was turgid, absolutely crepe. No sense of urgency, couldn't put together 2-3 passes, and the defence hoofed the ball out of the penalty area incessantly. Very poor....perhaps it's justice.
That ball from where he was, and to where it went, was, providing it was meant (and I suspect it was) was truly world class.
I've watched it several times and am astonished. It also is a wonderful example of the importance of hitting on the break.
My dad survived unhurt in a fatal train accident in Eastbourne Station, in about 1960. Not sure how many died, not many as I remember. Always remember after that we always sat in the middle of the train.
