I had a sneaky feeling that Allardyce was going to quit after he kept the Palace up. Think he lost a lot of confidence this season and after having to resign from his dream job he definitely wasn't going to take a permanent step backwards.
Personally not a fan of adidas anymore, they're too expensive for a brand that have been too inconsistent fits despite being supposedly the same size. The last pair of sambas I had would have this incessant squeak that never went away. It's a shame because I really like adidas shoes design...
I wasn't aiming anything at you! I was just commenting on the BBCs speculation of potential causes. Wasn't really looking at the thread. Think there's just a lot of confusion about what is happening.
It's unlikely to have been a very large balloon if people outside the arena heard it. Network rail is suggesting the train line has been blocked, sounds horrific :(
This is what it must feel like to be supporting a Premier League side and looking down at the Championship. It just looks like something you want to avoid completely.
Very wise words from the Prince of the Nigels.
In the end, I know plenty of Palace fans who are the friendliest and most decent bunch of guys around. Rivalries should be kept to the pitchside, or at most in flame wars on the internet.
A very sobering video, it's a complete inversion of our own fortunes, but it's still one I'm sure many Brighton fans can relate with. Best of luck to the O's and hopefully they will be back in the EFL sooner rather than later.
The capacity of the ground in that video is definitely NOT 5,000 seats, which makes me think the final product might look a little smaller. But fair play to them if they make that.
Who cares? It was less about the title and more about the season and an appreciation of the fan's support. Some are going to sneer but they're irrelevant anyway.
