    [Cricket] T20 World Cup 2024

Happy that The Netherlands beat Nepal but it was a lot closer than it had any right to be. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are definitely beatable too. Super 8 cricket would be yet another crucial financial boost to Dutch cricket if they make it.

Apparently Phil Neville was offered the job in the Summer

What I do know is that it was between Hughton and Hyypia and we ultimately went with the latter before coming back to Chris.

[Albion] So is Lallana coming back into our setup

I think a lot of people guessed as much.

    [Albion] England Euro Squad announcement

You'd think so from this season but at PSV he was decent with the ball at his feet.

[Other Sport] Official NFL Thread 2024/25 🏈

Looking forward to trying to get a ticket for the Vikings. Gives me a good excuse to come back home. Curious to also see how we fare without Cousins, our season collapsed last year when he got injured.

    [Albion] Yukinari Sugawara

I would say defenders tend to be better from the Dutch league than attackers. They seem to adapt quicker than forwards.

[Cricket] The village / amateur 2024 CRICKET thread...

Absolute shocker for me this week. Came in at 5, first ball cut straight into the hands of point. First golden duck since I was 15. Fortunately, we won by 91 runs with myself getting a couple of wickets in the process.

[Cricket] The village / amateur 2024 CRICKET thread...

Love this thread! First game of the season for me tomorrow as we Hercules take on Voorburg. We’ve taken the step to go partially semi pro (some players being paid, others given reimbursements, sponsors) and it’s a massive workload. Got two lads over from New Zealand and one broke his hand on...

[Albion] Thrown out for taking a beer to seat

I think a lot of people that come over from Europe don't know the rules. Whenever I've mentioned this to people here they struggle to believe it.

[Albion] The 2023-24 (Last Season!) Loanee Tracker Thread

Said it before on this thread I have no idea what they were doing at Vitesse. Even before the season had started they were in trouble and the club is somehow more of a mess than 6 months ago. Why on earth we sent Mazilu there as well I don't know, can only presume we have a link with Vitesse...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Great news as Borough stayed up. Looked dead and buried at one point but Adam Murray has really changed the team around. 11 points from their last 5 games is just incredible for a team at the bottom. Poor Taunton probably can't believe it but as great escapes go, this surely has to be one of the...

    [Travel] Passport Renewal?

Yes, whilst abroad as @dazzer6666 mentioned. I also cannot do the service in London either as I don't live in the UK and you need to be living in the UK to access the service.

[Football] Graham potter turns down Ajax ...

If he thought Chelsea fans were impatient, Ajax fans are a different breed. He wouldn't last 3 months there.

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2023/24 Edition

Guessing that must have been the season they both went up. Both teams were superb that year and a massive shame that Lewes had the financial issues and went straight back down. I remember it was neck and neck until Borough threw it away picking up 6 points in their last 8 games whilst Lewes won...

    [Albion] March 2024 - ** 26 ** (yes, that's TWENTY-SIX) Albion players on international duty

Thought he looked good when he came on, didn’t do anything special but kept the ball and retained possession. Germany definitely looked more fluid when he was on the pitch.
