Yes, it is frustrating but at such a late time some folk have to make transport deadlines to get home or not at all. We do need to be sympathetic to individual circumstances.
I can understand and support that the players want family members to be there, but 20? that seems excessive if that is indeed the norm. If that is true, then that might explain why, prior to the Grimsby match, 2 lots of 200 or so tickets became available late on, as "the wider football family"...
I recall exactly the same sort of comments after the semi final in 2019. At home matches the standers are largely to be found in the NS -fair enough -but on occasions such as this, they are inevitably spread around, and then drink comes into the equation.
I think you do have a point here. in the build-up to the Grimsby match, nearer the actual day, I think it was about 2 lots of 200/300 tickets suddenly became available out of the blue, and again they could have been in parts of the ground that might have appealed to a fan, who was "forced" to...
There you go again! Your view should be interpreted as enlightenment and consciousness- raising, when in reality it is simply your view and nothing else. My mention of wokies is simply that this happens so often with our wokies on here - presumably such as yourself - who assume that their view...
And nor does it the poster to whom I was responding, who showed the typical wokie feeling of moral superiority combined with arrogance to assume your view is superior to others. Would that also apply to you, I wonder?
If there are folk there not from Sussex, you could begin by saying -welcome to Sussex, gateway to the continent and home to the incontinent. Not a dig at palace, I know, but it did get an intial laugh.
But there is access to education for all and thus opportunity that goes with it. After 40 years teaching, I can assure you that a very significant minority choose not to value this chance in life presented to them. Also, do DVLA pay their employees so little that they are all on benefits? That...
Have we booked the venue for ourselves as in the past, or can anyone including Man Utd fans also get tickets for the event. I have nothing against Man Utd fans also being there as such, but it might diminish the "Albion atmosphere."
I wonder if you see the irony of such a rabid post. But I doubt it as you are one of those predictably determined to skew the thread to suit your agenda. Whilst this country has its fair share of folk determined to throw a spanner in the works, the vast majority is decent, as is the case in many...
Like all Albion fans, I have been dreaming of the club being in Europe for decades and would readily embrace the CL. Now that the only type of European participation open to us seems ever more real, I am not sure that I am as keen –I assumed that I was in a minority of one, but seeing other...

I fully agree, but the reality is that the cretin on VAR is likely to be from the same organisation, (and mate) as the ref in question, and thus has very interest in backing up his mate, rather than let him face the wrath of thousands of home fans.
Yes, this is my suspicion too. When your mate is on VAR, he is, given how human nature works, far less likely to come to a decision which means that you will be barracked by 60,00 fans. But given the lack of transparency, we will sadly never really know.
Rather like the original poster who claimed that what he thinks is happening is therefore a fact! Yes, you may know of such an incident, and if you say so, I don't doubt the veracity of what you write, but then to give your view more credence you then go on to say that most do the same thing...
But how do you know that it is a fact -that is simply what you want to think. How do you know that they are not buying a ticket for family members who also support the Albion? I see your point that not everyone can afford a season ticket or indeed commit to every match, but the cheaper...
