Because it would make Brextremists decisions feel wrong. Ego's will not permit that. Not losing face on football forums is more important than the future of the country.
Brextremists get apoplectic if you say that sort of thing. Ive no idea why. Their posts suggests confidence in the vote being the same. For the country to take such an important decision over its future, I would have thought every avenue would be looked into. Sadly, a lot of Brextremists would...
Yep Saw a good chunk of the world in 2 years in the RN. Much more appealing than Stafford... to me anyway.
The only downside, was my papers didnt turn up from the RAF during the RN inoculation stage, and they made me have the whole lot again. Which worried me a bit
I did. Did my training at RAF Hereford, and was told towards the end of my training that I was going to RAF Stafford. Left whilst I still could and joined the RN :lolol: The thought of a couple of years in Stafford really didnt appeal.
I keep picturing that thing we had to do in training, im sure all ex matelots remember it, where they stick you in a ship compartment set up... throw a thunderflash into it, and start flooding it whilst you had to use bits of wood and mattresses etc to bung the holes up :lolol:
Celebrate? Sorry, but I believe that one of the fundamental design features of a warship should be that it doesnt fecking leak after coughing up 3 billion for it.
It maybe, it maybe not. It may need to be dry docked.
The main point is, they knew about the leak before it was commissioned, but kept it quiet for some reason. Im guessing to rush it through.
We have taken and commissioned our main fleet entity, and it has a 200 litre an hour leak. Its an embarrassment. Sea trials tend to be before you commission, and I got the impression that workups were for the crew, rather than the ship.
