    [Technology] Anyone else playing Wordle?

    Bit of absolute tomfoolery meant a 3 rather than a 2. What a plum. Wordle 1,223 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  3. Harry Wilson's tackle

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

As seen also in English language. Much of American chat today would be instantly familiar to the ears of 17th century Bristolian peasants.
  4. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

And why defend this pound-shop gangasta as if he's a victim? Weird. Queer, even.

[News] At what age should kids have smartphones - if at all?

Fair enough. You know how easily I get wrongfooted  Agree with your assessment.

[Misc] Weight loss jabs - Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.

I have found the only way I can lose weight is via anxiety (which is something that affects me greatly). I have found that when I don't drink booze (several days a week - which is admittedly a relatively new thing) I put on weight (I weigh myself daily - a neurodiversity thing), presumably...

But if you are someone who hates everything to do with Labour then it is obviously wrong at every level. (I'm with you. Hard to criticize swift action. And worthingweirdo should check who was in government when the case began. f***ing hell. It was the Tories! Who knew?)
  8. Harry Wilson's tackle

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

I suspect it's the pronunciation. Succour. That eyeball-insult of a game between Palarse and Forest the other night was as far from succour as a 90 minute spectation can possibly be. I had literally lost 15% of my soul by the time the final whistle went. It's now a horcrux in Will Hughes'...
  9. Harry Wilson's tackle

    Care to elaborate? ???
  10. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

An extremely right wing labour-hating colleague of mine had a very unhealthy interest in Ms Cooper when she was hovering on the fringes of the Blair government. ???
  11. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

That's a very queer post. I happen to be acquainted with all three and they are entirely unconnected. I can imagine TB raising one eyebrow at your Sexton Blake level detectorism :lolol: I seem to recall agreeing with randy old nob's comments on other threads from time to time. That he's lost...
  12. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

I was asked 20 years ago but declined the invitation. Now I have more time on my hands......my unsuitability has become all too apparent :lolol:
  13. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] At what age should kids have smartphones - if at all?

Stupid for a school to put on a lesson requiring the kids have a smartphone. That has nothing to do with whether kids should have a phone. Ours (age 13 going on 14) has a good phone and has her nose in it all day. As others have doubtless said, yes with restrictions.
  14. Harry Wilson's tackle

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck.

And he's been incognito in hospital, using the name Dan Druff.

  16. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

One would hope that large amounts of money will be spent protecting and compensating this police officer, whose safety has been compromised by the needless naming of him before conviction. Oh, hang on, sorry, before acquittal. I suspect I have just unearthed the flaw in due process here...
  17. Harry Wilson's tackle

[News] Chris Kaba .. Justice served ?

Agree. It had to go to court. And not all Met police acts are criminal acts, as on this occasion. One might argue that both the dead man, and the Met brought it all on themselves.
