EDIT: Though skimming through that thread, it doesn't seem as if people had much to say about it.
Didn't see it when I looked earlier. Just went back here https://downloads.theifab.com/downloads/laws-of-the-game-2020-21?l=en and they have a full page image with the handball line on the arm before it lists the exception. Perhaps it works better in book form than scrolling through the PDF...
Doesn't help when just last week they were saying they couldn't stop the game when they realised the VAR error because 'them's the rules' yet, for handball they're saying 'yeah, that's the rule, but we want to do this instead...'
Tottenham are also on a rich run of goal scoring form. If we can both keep it up until Boxing day, I imagine that will be our first 0-0 of the season, after the TV company hype up the expectation of goals.
I have no idea why it wasn't given.
Conspirational - giving them one for last week's mistake.
Negative about refereeing - he just got it wrong because his (and/or VAR's) understanding is as outdated as a lot of fans who all believed the thigh thing to be an explanation.
Over-thinking -...

Handling the ball
For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of
the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit. Not every touch of a

Just seen a replay. There's also the issue that Nunez's pass was away from goal and not under the Szoboszlai's control, with Verbruggen right there, so not a denial of a clear goalsoring opportunity, either.
In fairness, pleased with our approach. Looked initially like Liverpool were standing off, so Gross dropped back giving another option, and we used Dunk, Igor and Gross. Looks like we have been working on an approach for when they stand off. Or perhaps I'm misreading and Liverpool weren't as...

Below flat. Given how we've started making a minimum of 5 changes per game and this has, at least coincided with, if. not caused, a significant drop in performance (and results), I'm heading into the game with a lot of concern, both for the performance and the result.
I decided to watch the hunger games movies last week in anticipation of the new movies coming out and in Mockingjay pt1 Katniss sings a song called 'The Hanging Tree' that I am currently obsessed with. This is a performance of it by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra featuring Andrea Lykke ...
Clear dive from Bissouma for a second yellow and he's off.
Does that become a 2 game ban? One for the snding off for two yellows, one for the 5th yellow?
