When I saw our front three of Andone, Maupay and Trossard I was literally salivating from the gob. No way we'll lose this I thought, too good a forward line up to not score I said. Cheers Andone, you mug.
A loss, be it with everything to still believe, is a loss, and it will bring out the trolls. Thought, considering 2/3rds of a game with 10 men, our positiveness shone through. Passing was accurate and crisp and we didn't revert to 4-4-1 when idiot was sent off. I am enjoying the football so far...
I'm in agreement with many here, and many elsewhere that VAR has been brought in purely to disallow goals. So far, it seems, that is the only reason for its use. Don't need negative tactics in your team any more, VAR has done it for us.
Obviously Andone should have done one after that bloody awful lunge (idiot), but Montoya in full flight being elbowed in the front of the neck/throat and the opposing player gets a yellow? F'kin joke.
That was the right call but I still hate VAR. Last season the ref and lino would have called that in less than 10 seconds, but they're too scared to give a decision now.
That was daylight robbery, from the first to the last. Unbelievable .Andone the complete idiot can take the blame for it.
Two things struck me and in my own opinion, when is an elbow to the neck not a sending off? Well, today obviously. Why does a handball, clearly handball, in the penalty area...
My Fridat night was going to start around after lunch of the third test until I watched that horror unfold and ended up not having a beer until gone 6 when I switched the cricket off.
Just watched the KP documentary/interview on Sky. Showed him getting the shit kicked out of him by Lee's bowling back in 2005 at the Oval. No complaints from the England squad though.
Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, all within that location whilst they spunk £200k+ a week on one persons wages. Surely any of them could make a guarantor on these clubs in some form? Even if after they dump the owners flushing them down the drain.
