Any suggestions for cheap trains and hotels. Just had a quick look and it's ridiculously expensive.
Spoke to someone today who lives South and has a Man U season ticket (now that's a surprise) and he said hotels are just daft prices and staying out of the city centre taxis go up three fold on...
Living close to Croydon I am really enjoying the Palace journey and milking it. However they have a track record of pulling it out of the bag and securing survival. They are only four points off survival and have players to come back from injury.
I would like to see the same poll in February...
We have creative players just need to get the ball in the box, was good to see March tucking in to score, we need to gamble a bit more and get support for Hemed as he is far too isolated.
I'm confident it will change for the better
We showed glimpses of being a good side, however we all know we need a goalscorer and things won't change until this is addressed.
We need to retain the ball better and take the pressure off the defence.
A tad disappointed.
We are all realistic enough to know that Premier survival is the clubs goal, however while we aren't a Chelsea or any other club in Europe surely a second goal must be a cup run. Are any English clubs going to win the Champions League, probably not but they still field relatively strong sides...
Don't be so cynical, that sort of thing doesn't happen. I'm sure the referee will protect players.
The first team already have fewer games than last season and another international break is just round the corner.
I don't understand the workings of Palace (does anyone) but have the Yanks taken any money out of the club to date. I thought the investment was to improve facilities and not the squad. I'm sure they will want a return at some stage.
Talking to Palace friends of mine they were not surprised by...
We have pace on the flanks, they sometimes need to tuck in and support the lone striker. I don't think I've seen Gros play advanced as yet, he needs to get closer to the front striker.
Playing upfront alone he won most of the aerial duals and put in a huge shift on a hot day. Unlucky to hit the post and put one just wide in the second half. I thought he had a great game, in the last couple of seasons when Murray has been injured or suspended Tomer has stepped up to the plate.
Yes, the wickets are better batting surfaces and we bat a long way down. Stoneman and Westley won't start, Hales will come in with ANother. Root and Bairstow need to bat higher in the order and I would be tempted to play three opening batters.
Our problem will be bowling a side out twice on...
