I feel like I am perpetually expecting the worst. It's a home game we should, on paper, win with ease, while there's a lot of positivity in the fan base. It's got a loss all over it. My mojo is constantly dipping as games approach.
Match report says 30,760 (right at the bottom).

The post-match display on the big screen said 30,000 and change (I can't remember if it was 30,700 or 30,070). Since the goal came early enough, I'm sure none of them had left to get the train.
I thought for parts of the second half, if you didn't know the score you'd think we were 5-0 up waiting for the final whistle to go.
Perhaps their game plan relied more on Mbuemo, and when he went off injured they lost their way a bit, allowing us to control the game and was generally just...
I may have put a little extra into my celebration because it was Jack scoring. I didn't notice it was he who made the block on the goalline shortly before scoring. I did notice in the first half he made an important covering tackle when Brentford got in behind Igor, and shortly after that chased...
In the 90s there was a 49c that I believe went around bevendean and then up through moulsecoomb, it was the Falmer school bus (it didn't go through higher bevendean, because that doesn't exist  ).
I'm convinced Higher Bevendean doesn't really exist. Sure, the local post office is labelled higher bevendean, but it feels like that is just to keep the locals happy. It was invented by people too embarrassed to admit they live in Moulsecoomb. (I believe where I grew up was fradulently...
As one of the people on some threads noting the drop ball was correct, this is why I believed that to be the case:

8.2 Dropped ball
Procedure
The ball is dropped for the defending team goalkeeper in their...
That applies when a goal is scored. A goal scorer is not allowed to have his arm touch the ball at all. Any contact is an offence regardless of supposed intent, or the naturalness of the arm position, or the closeness of the ball. It is an objective call, and VAR can intevene on objective calls...
It is effectively pointless, because logically the reason it isn't an offence is because there is no contact between the ball and his arm/hand.
However, when it comes to handball (in a non-goalscoring situation) it is, officially, a subjective call and refs have to review all subjective calls...
I might need to look again, but it looked potentially offside to me. How would people have responded if Grealish scores and it's pulled back for offside because the ref didn't give the freekick?
