Its not speed that kills, it’s inappropriate speed that does.

    [Travel] Bad news for petrolheads!

There is a temporary roadsign showing the national speed limit because it isn’t normally 60, so no permenant sign exists there. Whilst those roadworks were in place you could safely enter the dual carriageway without filtering into existing traffic which was restricted to the outside lane so the...

Are you for real? Plenty of “straight slip road” :lolol:

    [Travel] Bad news for petrolheads!

Trust me you’re wrong. There is no sign to state where the 30mph speed limit ends and the national speed limit applies as is required by law. Therefore the 30mph limit continues to where you join the dual carriageway upon which the limit is 70mph. How do I know you’re wrong? My neighbour was...

Here’s the nearest one to where I live. It’s 30mph from where you leave the B3078 and only becomes 70mph when you join the A338.

    [Travel] Bad news for petrolheads!

I live in Dorset these days. We have no motorways whatsoever, but we have plenty of dual carriage ways and the odd bit of three lane road. Plenty of them restrict you to 40mph before joining said multi lane roads which are filled with cars doing 70+

[Football] Oh dear VAR with French officials

By removing human error it increases the accuracy of their prediction models. TB could explain it far better than me.

[Football] Oh dear VAR with French officials

What’s the point of going to your local, if it still exists, on a Saturday evening and arguing about the controversial points of a game when VAR has been used? The final nail, first driven into the coffin of football, by Sky and their multi angle replays. What are we supposed to talk about now...

    [Albion] Brighton vs Palace doubles

Lies, we did the double over you in 1920/21, 1928/29, 1931/32 and 1937/38. Onwards and upwards. :)

[Palace] Special Amnesty for Palace Fans on NSC....

No amnesty required. We could query Knockhaert still being on the pitch, you could justifiably argue that Dann’s Holding should have been a penalty. We could argue number of shots, you could point out two great goals. It won’t change a thing, both teams got what they deserved on the day. It’s...

[Football] Is it WRONG to refer to Palace vs Albion as the M23 Derby?

Add to that Selhurst Park is 12 miles away from the M25. Would the ‘M23 plus 32 miles of non motorway roads Derby’ be more appropriate?
