I think that's probably about right.
A question for the statisticians or historians on NSC, only two English / Home grown players in the starting XI, is this the least number we have had, obviously excluding Huddersfield last week.
I think the thread title is wrong, should read 300 Ticketless Palace Left Out Of Ground.
Been informed today in the merchants I work in at Caterham that a few intend to travel without tickets. Apparently they want to experience the build up and atmosphere, righto, enjoy being kettled round...
It's funny how wrong you can be, last week I favoured Bong over Bernado saying "Bong is a better defender" . Last two games Bernado has stepped up and looks a useful addition to the defence. Good on the ball, quick and won several headers on Saturday. I think his pace will be a plus against...
Bit late to join the thread and haven't read all the posts. At the time I thought yesterday was a red card as the player didn't touch the ball and seemed to leave himself in the tackle and high.
At the time I didn't think Stephens was a red card as he won the first tackle and was committed to...
Don't know if anyone has a statistic for our conversation rate of shots on target / goals. I presume if we have such little ball in the opposition half we must be quite clinical in front of goal?
I was Chairman of Caterham CC in Surrey and coached at Ropley CC, Hampshire when I lived in the county. Certainly the talent is there but outside Public Schools the children rely on local clubs for coaching and guidance, most of which is on a purely volunteer basis.
Caterham was ECB...
Interesting list, our local public school Caterham isn't on the list and yet has former Surrey player Jonathan Batty coaching and before that Surrey coach Chris Bullen coupled with amazing facilities should be turning out good young players.
Local clubs are ECB accredited and normally part of...
I don't think the police have given up, fans still having to attend with season tickets and ID. I'm sure Palace will still be kettled to and from the station.
Lewes last season pre match was fine just a bit of banter.
Good mate of mine is a STH at Palace and decided to give it a miss and attend...
I was most definitely caught out and caught short. The only good thing was the wicketkeepers refusal to stand up to the spinner.
I once played in a game at Ipplepen, Devon and my fellow opening batsman after a heavy session in Plymouth retired after one ball due to a follow through walking...
I followed through once, unfortunately I was batting at the time. Luckily it was a windy day and I had a long fitting jumper to cover up my stained whites, well I say whites it was in the days of jock straps.
Pundits this morning thought 230 would be enough. Scoring rates seem high but so is the wicket strike rate.
If we could add another twenty two runs I think three hundred is a physiological thing. We still need to bowl well and keep to good lines and lengths.
England are so lucky to now have...
We will need to bat well to score three hundred plus on a turning wicket.
I know I moan a lot but two of our spinners bowl a four ball every over which makes it hard to set attacking fields.
Loved Tomer for us a whole hearted player who rarely let us down but not a Premier player. He is not clinical in front of goal, we saw that with great opportunities at Watford and Spurs last season both missed.
His form at QPR is eleven games and three goals in the Championship, for the Albion...
Can we are an extra option of "both", clear the wage bill of two average players and buy one half decent.
Locadia wants out which is understandable and Hemed hasn't set the world on fire at QPR.
Both out and Barnes in
