I've never hidden my appreciation of The Carpenters, why should I? Karen Carpenter possessed one of the most beautiful voices of the modern era, together with her brother Richard they produced some of the most memorable songs of the 70's/ 80's.
Late 60's Saturday nights at the Top Rank Suite, can't dance to save my life, but wild dogs wouldn't have stopped me charging on to the dance floor when this track came on, happy carefree days.
