    [Football] Ulloa primed for EPL

Yup, constantly get the same. ****ing vultures.

    New FIFA President

That's a good summary. I agree that Champagne is tainted by his association with Blatter, at least perception wise, but given the reforms he's suggesting he does seem to be anti-corruption (or he knows he won't win so can publicly posture to make himself look good).

    New FIFA President

Well Sheikh Salman has been accused of “complicity in crimes against humanity” with, I believe, evidence produced, so he's out. Infantino wants to bring the World Cup up to 40 teams, so that's a no from me. Tokyo Sexwale may have been involved in some dodgy stuff in the Republic of Guinea which...

Van La Parra - must want away from Wolves so badly

"so-called players" is a weird phrase. You might not like them, but they're clearly still players.

[Music] Which Radio Stations do you listen to??

Radio 1 is what's on in the office all day. I don't mind the musical choices (particularly if I'm working late when better stuff comes on), but some of the presenters do drive me up the wall.

    Can You Fault Tim Martin

There are some I like and some I hate. The one on West Street is absolutely dreadful (as is the one in Hastings), while the one on North Street isn't so bad and the one at the Marina is actually pretty nice, managing to feel cosy while having a lot of space and some nice views of the Marina. I...

[News] Excitement at new cancer treatment

90% success is great, 2 deaths is not (although that's present as a raw figure, not a percentage so the mortality rate of the treatment in current form is impossible to ascertain). And yes, medical breakthroughs are normally more cautious. General science and technology reporting really isn't.

[News] Excitement at new cancer treatment

Always be suspicious of scientific studies that haven't been reviewed yet. Hell, it's not even a published study yet. It has the potential to be a solid step in the right direction, but even the BBC article urges caution, which is surprising for a media report of a study.

[Football] Do you subscribe to Sky Sports?

Well the money's got to go somewhere though? If it doesn't go to the players I'd imagine owners would happily hoard it.

For the human race to survive do we need to live in Space?

Yes, absolutely. If you look at the number of mass extinction events earth has faced in the past, spreading ourselves over multiple planets is the only viable option.

Is 86 points enough for automatic promotion?

Take the current situation. If we have 1 more point than Burnley we move up to third, not second.

[Football] Do you subscribe to Sky Sports?

Nope, so expensive. Have Freeview, Netflix etc... I will buy the Now TV Sports Pass thingy if there's something I desperately want to watch, normally home Ashes tests.

[Travel] Number 25 bus advice, after the match.

There's the one by Falmer station, and there's one right by the coach park. The one at Falmer Station is served by more buses though. I think if you want to go all the way to Hove you'd need to go to Falmer station to get the 25X as the regular 25 only goes as far as town (I believe, it may be...

    Newhaven

I live right by Fiveways, and the Fiveways Village thing is just weird. Also renaming the pub to Fiveways has proved confusing at best.

REMF match at the Amex this year

Couldn't agree with you more. Dripping Pan is an appropriate venue for the gate, and sound doesn't get lost in a cavernous, nearly empty stadium.

    Liverpool back down

Hasn't scrapping the categories put the price up overall though? A friend of mine says it's a rise of £150 over the season, as all categories are now priced as the previous Category A.

    Leicester City

I've found this remarkable, particularly when you look at Vardy. During that run where he broke the consecutive goal scoring record he had his arm in a cast for a good period of it. He also had a groin injury that required surgery and, some how, only missed one game (maybe two). Even he's...

The Lewes Road bus lane/traffic congestion

Really? I've found it much quicker coming from Falmer. Yes, it slows between the Garage and Elm Grove, but there's no bus lane there and it's never been particularly fast when traffic is heavy.

New BBC football website ... no team lineups

Yup, been that way for ages. I think it'd probably be a little nicer if that info wasn't right at the bottom of the page, but all the relevant match details are very much still there.
