[Football] Zaha watch - *** The SEGW finally managed to escape***

Do you find it funny to take the piss out of someone with a speech impediment? In case anyone is confused, b.w.2 used the term” Woy” as opposed to Hodgson’s real name. This won’t be apparent to anyone reading this thread as It appears the mods are aware of this and have set up an autocorrect on...

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

We run the harbour as a sporting fishery, it’s 100% catch and release for all but the bottom 100 yards or so. This can only be done because, unlike virtually every other natural UK harbour, it is privately owned. A direct consequence is the number of double figure bass it now holds. Live...

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

The ones on the beach at Hastings certainly buy in fish as well as what is landed locally.

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

You’d be surprised regarding big bass hanging around together, we see it all the time down here (it helps that the HA runs crystal clear so spotting them is dead easy). Our mullet shoals tend to hold hundreds of individuals down here whether thin or thick lipped. It’s only the golden greys...

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

Thin lips are dead easy to catch in the summer. The local trick down here is to cut the treble hook of a Mepps #4 silver/blue comet and attach a couple of inches of nylon in its place with a trailing single hook baited with a small piece of rag worm. Deadly!

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

If he doesn’t think they looked like mullet on google there is the possibility that they were bass, especially if they really were “proper big fish” as described.

    [Help] Dental Implants

I’ve now got 7, the oldest is around 12 years old and still going strong. The latest one was back in June and the cost was around £1,400. All have been done by my regular dentist down here in Dorset.

Would you eat MORE fish if bones weren't an issue?

People’s attitudes towards bones had absolutely nothing to do with the demise of the U.K. herring fishery, it was simply caused by overfishing. It was so bad that from 1977 to 1983 herring fishing was completely banned in the U.K. I’d agree that once the ban was lifted, by that time the younger...

Unbelievable ending. What an enthralling conclusion to a match of that importance.

Whilst on this occasion I have no inside information whatsoever, I’d suggest that any toys thrown from the Selhurst pram will be by his brother as opposed to Zaha personally.

    Flying Ant Day

Absolutely no sightings yet in coastal Dorset despite enjoying perfect conditions for the mass hatching.

[Football] Zaha watch - *** The SEGW finally managed to escape***

You’d have to be pretty stupid to think Arsenal were actually offering £40m plus all three of those players. And you’d be a special kind of stupid to think Palace could afford - or want to pay - the daft wages of three players Arsenal want to get off their books. It’s pure click bait bollocks...

No, it was because he played for the Ivory Coast on Thursday evening, travelling back from Egypt yesterday.

[Travel] How many Brighton's have you been too?

Three, UK, Australia and USA. The one in Melbourne had a bus service to Croydon. I’ve got a photo of the bus sign somewhere.

[Football] Why clubs shouldn't sell their best players - even in this crazy market

Thanks for your comprehensive reply, I understand what you are getting at but I’d still question that you could call that “regularly”. A large chunk of NSC would also question the bits l’ve highlighted. :)

[Football] Why clubs shouldn't sell their best players - even in this crazy market

I did raise an eyebrow at this line “Full-backs now regularly go for £50 million” In the history of football there have only been five defenders who have cost £50m or more.
