It never ceases to amaze me how folk can triggered by a benign opinion. He thinks Albion have made a poor appointment. Time will tell. It really doesn't matter.
I once went to an evening party that I didn't really want to go to.
I went into the kitchen and there was a ton of lovely food. 'This is what we came for' I gleefully exclaimed to my partner.
The host was standing behind me.
I always used to talk to strangers about anything and everything.
'Are you getting on the bus with me ?' they'd ask.
'No' I'd reply
The look of relief on their face...
I remember a mate taking me to visit a family he knew when I was 12. I commented on how nice the mum was. She wasn't the mum, she was the bloke's girlfriend.
On a more opinionated note, I do find the punditry a bit dumbed down these days. Nigh on unwatchable at times. A good reason why I often watch matches behind. I can fast forward through it or put the pause button on for 15 minutes while making a cuppa.
Thank the Lord for modern TV.
