Yeah but England fans generally boo the anthems of every other country regardless of a warring history. All the righteous indignation about Irish fans booing GSTK is frankly ridiculous.
My season ticket is in WSU and there is a lot of joining-in when the NS gets its act together. We can hear the NSK under the police box better, but not-so-much the mob under the screen (if only the two could link-up). For cup games I usually buy a ticket in the NS and I am always surprised...
Yeah but it doesn't happen very often; if it did there wouldn't be a thread started about it. A standing section which concentrated the NS hardcore would definitely make a "big" atmosphere happen more often...
Apart from wanting the 3 points it's important that Citeh start failing again as a club; their sports-washing Abu Dhabi owners are determined to undermine the Premier League and over the next 25 years will lead the charge in trying to change rules in favour of "big" clubs and setting-up a...
Yeah, and? When the season tickets go on sale for the safe-standing zone you agree with your mates where to buy them. Exactly what me and my mates did 11 years ago for WSU.
No it's not a pointless question and your comment about people standing anyway has been made 500 times before whenever this subject gets raised and misses the point. The point is that creating a safe-standing zone would be a chance to reset the North Stand which has never taken-off as a proper...
Quite a lot of pessimism on their Blue Moon forum; I presume that Citeh fans are so used to winning that a couple of bad results feels like a major crisis, and a lot of them are getting their excuses in early citing injuries. Shame we have key players out injured too, but I still reckon this...
No it isn't. Ajax like Spurs have a large Jewish support and have regulalrly displayed the Star of David flag at matches. Those attacking Maccabi fans were Muslim youths many carrying the Palestinian flag.
There will never be consistently good atmosphere from the NS because there are far too many punters seated in the wrong stand. Safe Standing would be the chance to have a re-shuffle and get like minded fans in the same place and hopefully all singing the same song.
Everyone I know who followed the Albion between 1983 and 2011 still go to the matches and I know a lot of people who were occasional fans back then who now have season tickets. So I don't understand your comment about "the types attracted to the club in the PL". Obviously we have attracted a...
I don't know why anyone would be a bit sheepish about admitting that they weren't born locally but support The Albion; there are thousands of born and bred locals who support the London clubs or Man U/Liverpool. You only have to be at Brighton station on a Saturday morning to see them heading...
Surely you know that a huge number of big city (e.g. Manchester, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, etc.) fans with Irish backgrounds also support Celtic.
That isn't true...
" Season ticket holders can share their season ticket with a MyAlbion+ member* for a seasonal upgrade fee of £20 (per season). This will mean you can give your season ticket to a friend/family member for a match you may not be able to attend"
