Breakfast, friends and family walk on the downs, pub for a pint all home for trad turkey roast. Would like one year for myself and the missus to just get away but she's fond of the whole family thing at Christmas. Which means in-laws which means I won't get a say in anything and will spend the...
I worked for the Brighton & Hove Crime Reduction Partnership at the time, he was stealing purses form bags in M&S (I think it was M&S), I made a stop on him and he kicked off big time. I quit the following week.
Ringing my Brother in China to tell him our Mum was dead, ringing my Brother in China a few months later to tell him our Dad was dead, ringing my Brother in China the month after that to tell him our older brother had died aged 39. That was a bad few calls to make.
Getting attacked and...
Done. I loved my brief stint of volunteering for you there. Was and remains my favourite city park.
I just wantto say good luck, we're all counting on you :-)
I had a brief fling with his daughter. Total head mental. Going by the father it's no surprise really.
Guy Martin can be a moody bugger, likes to blame losses on others. Spoilt is the word I would use. Very talented though and a good presenter.
Unless you turn up on their doorstep eh Bushy? Or offer them out? Or stalk them on the phone number you got off their website? Remember some on here remember, sweet cheeks.
Just heard that the vets that have been looking after Womble are now getting abusive calls and texts, presumably because he was at risk of being of down. Can everyone make sure they have taken down the original post and made clear Womble is okay now.
Some people. Ridiculous.
Okay people, extremely happy to tell you that Womble has found a secure home for life with a family in Surrey, he'll be around lots of other animals, big and small and looks set for a brilliant life. The person wishes to remain anonymous and can I ask that you can take down any posts or pics on...
I can happily report that we have had an overwhelming response and should find out today where Womble is going. But I'm over the moon to report that there is now absolutely no way that he is going to be put down. Just a case of going through all the brilliant people who have offered him a home...
Got that out on VHS as a birthday treat. I must say I think I was a bit young to appreciate it, as were my birthday chums who said it was the most boring birthday they have ever been to. Watched it as an adult and rather enjoyed it.
Thank you all. There are some strong leads but nothing definite yet. It appears that Lurcher SOS will take him if it comes to a choice of that or be put down. However, obviously a secure home would be best.
It's not my decision, this was passed to me by a very good friend to spread the word.
I...
You're a star, thank you. That's great news. I passed on their details to my friend last night so I think she'll be in touch today. And yes, a great response from you guys, NSC at it's finest. :clap2:
I'm not sure. It was my friend who's a vet nurse that contacted me and she's very knowledgable about these situations. It doesn't seem a long enough time but that's what she told me and like I say she deals with this all the time. Looks like we'll find a home for him though, been a great response.
Your are right and that is being strived for, not always straight forward unfortunately but with the response on here and other groups I'm pretty confident he'll get a home. Would be nice to see him go with an NSCer though so fingers crossed one of the two on this thread get to meet him.
