He set the right tone as always. Working quietly behind the scenes on signings but we already have players that can replace Moises because that’s how we do our business. The more measured amongst us know this already.

As people have said there is a lot that is better in modern football than in the old days. All you can do is be thankful for supporting a fan owned club. There are genuine fans of other clubs whose identity has now gone. At that point I think it’s best to walk away and do something else.

So to re-ask my question from posts 7 and 13 in this thread, how then will it be enforced that Chelsea pay the correct amount if/when they sell him ? If the contract between them and the buying club is confidential then what are the safeguards for BHA ? Or, come to that, the current safeguards...
