Its an amazing thing is football, it creates a different storyline for different people depending on the club you support, in the last month we have completely managed to forget that Alexis MacAlistar is in fact, still Argentinian and that Paul Barber alienated thousands of our fans by banning...
Worth buying a can of Tyre Weld and keeping it in the car. If you get a flat the can just screws on to the valve and inflates the tyre and injects liquid rubber that theoretically seals the hole and let's you drive a fair distance. Unless the hole is really large it works a treat and will get...
What an absolutely horrible year, we have suffered the loss of so many wonderful people..its an absolute tragedy... a sportsman, role model, hero and icon has left us.
RIP Pele.
Ok, quick rewrite .... expect the worst for Royal Mail workers if the government's upcoming legislation to erode workers rights gets passed. ...hope that helps avoid your issue ?
It's pretty obvious that Royal Mail will take advantage of the Government's retained EU Laws Bill currently going through Parliament. Going to end up with zero hours contracts and a bonfire of current rights.
That's what we are sleepwalking in to as a country now we have left the EU. ...
It will become a service that provides the maximum profit from the minimum in staff with the minimum collections and minimum deliveries. As with many post nationalised services the " service " deteriorates from the once lofty standards the government would maintain in to a poor service that...
I know of people that have done Norwegian fishing holidays and it is awesome...mostly because the Norwegians don't over fish their stocks as we have done over the decades.....was told of people using Feathers and catching 4 5lb Cod at a time...sadly, no good for me as there is nothing worse than...
Just watched the tail end of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, then saw the Snowman and the Snow Dog and now watching Chariots of Fire....so many lovely yet sad films about friends, bonding and hope ....Chariots is particularly moving due to the recent loss of Vangelis. What gets everyone else at...
Could it be because we are prepared to sacrifice standards in order to desperately try to make money in any way in order to prove that Brexit is some kind of success ?
It looks like the " questions" have been converted in to the quiz equivalent of a Cryptic Crossword. I'm sure there's lots of very old senior history teachers and Oxbridge Don's lapping this stuff up and getting the obscure references......either that or the whole exercise is a covert MI5...
He was a " Must Have " 5 or 6 years back in Fantasy Football...every time he moved club I would pop him back in my squad In the hope he would bounce back to that form...sadly, its never happened.
I suppose that " expenses " are subbed out before what's left goes to charity...£300k does not sound a lot for 5 years of no1s.....bonus point ? Can anyone name all 5 of these no1's without googling ? ..would be a valid question in the King Williams School Quiz.
It's not really a " General Knowledge " paper though is it ? . I have done pub quizzes for yonks and if you tried asking people these " questions " you would empty the pub. ..pretty pointless.
A lot of them do have " Work Arounds " for cheaper tickets. Mrs V had to travel often to Shropshire by train and the online price was usually more expensive than going to a local ticket office. It's always far easier to be overcharged than undercharged.
And of course all these facts should be considered when the government suggests more Private Health Care within the NHS. I think I am correct in saying that there is no such thing as an A&E run by a private healthcare company,as there's no profit in it.
Wait till the rail companies get their wish to " reassign " ticket office staff. Currently they are the only people who can work the complicated and expensive ticketing system to get cheaper tickets. Once they are gone we will be stuck with online or ticket machine prices which will inevitably...
