Well Biffer my dear friend, 2 things I would like to say, surely it is illegal for the racing manager to allow Izzy to run and openly admit she has know chance, as there are punters in the betting shops that wouldn't notice that, although it is pretty obvious if you read the form correctly...
The double is well and truelly on, also have you been bunging the racing manager again, Wednesday bags, hope you will parade with the others now you Rebel.
Just to let you know that Lara will have a trial this week, as she was marked awkward at Romford, this means she got involved with another dog in running but the racing manager didnt disqualify her because he felt it wasn't her fault, she will trial probably before racing.
I think Lara is more than capeable of running sub 48secs, the 3 dog has had plenty of chances at this distance and not exactly set the world on fire, the 2 dog has run twice quicker than lara over 695 and does run on in all it's races, I doubt she runs on as quick as Lara though, it was also off...
Biffer , Laras trial was with Ballymac Eugenie and it was the quickest trial of the day and only went 1 lap, lara got beat 16 lengths, but by the time they got to the pick up she was in front, also her trial time was a lot better than some that trialed, Eugenie has done a 24.10 round Romford...
Lara will run on Friday 14th at Romford over 750m (8 bends) for Novice marathon runners open race, she had a trial at Romford today and ran the track well, the race is the last race on the card, 10.40pm. This is getting much nearer to the distance she needs.
Yes Gaz S1 and S2, not had a graded 695 in ages, so a good sign the race on Saturday night is nearly a re run of the 695 maiden she won last week. This is really great news for Lara getting some good fitness and learning about the extra trip.
Benny seemed back to his normal self, although he was blowing heavy after the race, the dog that won the race was unraced and was an unknown quantity from Irland, Benny sectional was 4.20 and time 30.68 which is on his way back to normal, the heat over last few days isn't in his best interests...
Hi All.
Benny is entered for a race on Saturday night A5 (race 7)so downgraded, I have spoken with the kennels and they originally wanted to give him 7 days after his trip to vets, but they say he seems fine, they will check him over in the morning and if all is well they will keep him entered...
Awesome night guys and couldn't think of a better bunch to spend a night at the dogs with, we all made a few quid, Lara did a great job, left it a little late but we all know thats what she does, 900m will be the eventual goal then we will hopefully not sweating on a photograph.
