Some people just shouldn't use social media

Misinformed drivel...... I am a 60's child, I can tell you that in my teens and twenties in the 70's and 80's, it was education and hard work that git you rewarded...... nobody that I knew took the view that the state was responsible for our wellbeing and life choices.

    General Election 2015

Interesting how you see that as viable for SNP/Labour,.... but had no tolerance for Clegg having to give up his Uni fees stance,..... you fickle anti-conservative lot,....... just cannot see your own inbuilt prejudices, can you?

    General Election 2015

Would sound the death nell for any party, SNP simply doesn't want to help anyone other than the Jocks,......

    General Election 2015

Interestingly Cameron, and probably a majority of Conservative MP's and party members, don't actually want to leave the EU, they just want some adjustment to the T's & C's............ granted you do have the loony right minority, just as you have the loony left within Labour,....but...

    General Election 2015

I won't no, its not a subject that gets my gambling juices flowing..... If Ed isn't PM, I shall be pleased because economic continuity will be maintained......... but more importantly, I will have a chuckle to myself as I imagine your discomfort whilst munching on your Fruhstuck on the morning...

    General Election 2015

I live a lifestyle commensurate with the EFFORT I have put in, both with my education, and my 34 years if unbroken employment. I have never inherited any assistance, I have never claimed a penny in any sort of benefits other than what you get as standard for two kids. I lived most of my...

    General Election 2015

I think Labour re-engaging Campbell as their press relations officer again, may work against them,.....his rant on 5live this morning about the TV debates was so pointed and vitriolic, that listeners would have been turning to another channel (and party allegiance possibly) in double quick...

    General Election 2015

Why does it?, we live it, you don't........ I can tell you that I am not depressed about the economic figures, the employment figures, the inflation rate, the interest rates,........ I do get depressed about people telling me how I should live my life, especially if they dont even live in this...

    Going to New York

Peter Lugers maybe,.... but in a price range near ordinary peoples reach, it is reported as the best in its class,.... and it is sooooooo much more than steak,..... in fact steak is a sideshow compared to some of the offerings on the menu.

    Going to New York

It is worth the money,.... I have been 4 times, I have never felt short changed,.... yes its a treat sort of place,... but the atmosphere, service and quality of food is the real mccoy. I will also recommend the Grand Central Oyster Bar ( much more than just oysters),..... real ambiance in the...

Am I the only person who thinks doing the ring of fire is unoriginal AND annoying?

It works as a sort of atmosphere bit of kindling, once it starts it often leads to another song,....... I think it would look great once more scarf's or flags get twirled, its a bit patchy at the moment.

[Brighton] Kill joy council candidate wants to ban charity waterslide

As the article says, they did it here in the West Country last year, central Bristol, a very busy street just like the one proposed for Brighton, it was a massive success, raised stacks of money, attracted hoards of people spending money in the city, great result all round.

UK net migration rises to 298,000
