I am a 60's child, I can tell you that in my teens and twenties in the 70's and 80's, it was education and hard work that git you rewarded...... nobody that I knew took the view that the state was responsible for our wellbeing and life choices.

Why does it?, we live it, you don't........ I can tell you that I am not depressed about the economic figures, the employment figures, the inflation rate, the interest rates,........ I do get depressed about people telling me how I should live my life, especially if they dont even live in this...
Peter Lugers maybe,.... but in a price range near ordinary peoples reach, it is reported as the best in its class,.... and it is sooooooo much more than steak,..... in fact steak is a sideshow compared to some of the offerings on the menu.

It works as a sort of atmosphere bit of kindling, once it starts it often leads to another song,....... I think it would look great once more scarf's or flags get twirled, its a bit patchy at the moment.
As the article says, they did it here in the West Country last year, central Bristol, a very busy street just like the one proposed for Brighton, it was a massive success, raised stacks of money, attracted hoards of people spending money in the city, great result all round.
