Tough having seen and enjoyed watching both play for Brighton. But as I am in need of a tie breaker - Valencia beats Halifax on the flair front
Classic case of celebrity dumbing down. TV is full of it these days. pIty she didn't run around the cheetah enclosure, at least it would have been in the raw and entertaining!
RIP Freddie, I met him about 20 years ago at Gatwick. He was on a trip home from coaching in the USA. Had nothing but good to say about the Albion, and wished us well in our fight against Archer etc.
Goes to show that he has as much control over his phone as he had over a football. But these things happen when sat in you average £200,000 customised Range-Rover after a good game . Probably interference from the £10,000 stereo. It's a Land-Rover thing; It get a similar problem in my 11 year...
Taking the Seagull Special to Walsall on a cold March day for the return fixture after the famous 7 - 0 drubbing: Hopes high, top of the table, Peter Ward in fine form, 7 - 0, 7 - 0, 7 - 0, 7 - 0............Fellows Park, what a dump, then lost to a last minute Alan Buckley goal and got...
Brighton v Rochdale 1972 - the night we got promoted after a 1 -1 draw. Totally hooked on night games from then on. The view of the ground, as you walked past the church near the south east corner - floodlights, a fug of smoke and the North Stand already in full voice - magic, just magic
I had a good view of them in Sussex about 20 years ago, long before the vogue for paying large amounts of money to fly north in an effort to see them- something that is not guaranteed. Like so many things in life they come round when you least expect them.
