Easy choice, Rialto Bridge. (sentimental reasons)

aaand another, this time from The Dead Sea near Ein Gedi, Israel. Think this was sometime in the 80's and is a 6x9 transparency (slide) Ive also photographed the Dead Sea more recently from the Jordanian side, but the salt deposits aren't as nice IMO

You used to be able to buy a 7 day Shinkansen Bullet Train (Unlimited travel for 7 days) pass from here in the UK, You couldnt buy it in Japan, only the UK, before leaving. Great value if I remember.

I was milling around outside the ground as I couldnt get a ticket. It was crazy, so many (spurs fans) came up to me an said they've gone 1 up. Trouble breaking out everywhere, on the way in to the ground at the back of the south stand, a spurs fan had climbed over the railings of the church and...
Russia aren't going to get involved in anything, they're up to their neck in Ukraine. It would be in their interests for the Israel/Hamas/Gaza/Lebanon/Iran situation to go on for as long as possible, thereby taking Western eyes off Ukraine.
Went two years ago for three weeks and loved it, very safe and friendly people. Particular highlights for me were Petra, Madaba, Amman, Jerash and the Desert. oh and Aqaba
