The shareholders have to be kept happy, this is just yet another step to increase profits by shaving off a bit more from the punters. Expect the move to more Self Service Checkouts to continue too for the same reason..
Maybe cuts in Employers NI contributions which must then be passed on to employee in increased wages ? Mandatory annual wage reviews ? A " Wage Arbitration Board/Service " ? There must be some way to come up with a way to treat employees .....Maybe a Union ? 😉

As a youngsters I used to feel proud to be British... I sat in Geography looking up at a map coloured 25% pink to show the British Empire that we had colonised and " civilised "....over the years the scales have fallen from my eyes and we now have little to feel proud of. Society is broken...

Agreed. I think even May would have handled it better than Johnson, there certainly would not have been the Partygate scandal under her leadership. Fair to say that any Prime Minister from any of the three main party's would have handled covid better.

I can vouch that his son Neil has dabbled at least with the Albion as it was he I went with on my first few games as a 15 year old way back in the day in 1975 ish.We lost touch after moving on to college etc etc..my sympathies to all the family and those close..
