    [News] Post Office Scandal -

The government can get back that 60 million windfall they dished out to Michelle Mone for all that crappy PPE she gave them and divide it between the 700 who would actually deserve it - that would be about 85 grand each by my calculations. It's not enough but it would be a start.

[Albion] Foreign “Brighton fans” on Twitter, Instagram etc….

Good man - I supported the Mets when I lived in NYC and your comment about Man U and the Yankees is dead right. A lot of Mets fans refer to the Yankees as the Evil Empire.

[Albion] Foreign “Brighton fans” on Twitter, Instagram etc….

It's like all the knobs you see wandering about Brighton wearing Yankee baseball caps. They wouldn't have a clue where the Bronx are let alone been to Yankee stadium. They like to identify with a brand, a team they see as successful. So we should be flattered that these overseas fans see fit to...

    [Finance] Cash or card ?

In the new Netflix movie Leave the World Behind there is a cyber attack on the USA. As a result one of the characters who needs medicine for his son uses cash as Apple pay etc are down. I know this has never happened in the UK although there have been instances where ATMs have been knocked out...

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Another vote for Leave the World Behind. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I liked the way it slowly cranked up the tension and didn't give you all the answers immediately but made you think a bit. And the character development was good, particularly Mahershala Ali's 8/10

[Technology] A pretty mind blowing article for those up on tech

When I was in the States I remember seeing some programme about hacking into internet connected devices. One hacker had said he could hack into internet connected heart pacemakers, he added that he would not do so but was making manufacturers aware of this loophole so they could close it. I...

As usual the guilty will go unpunished and the lives of the innocent will be left in ruins. Nothing ever seems to change - just look at the Grenfell House fire.

Halfway through Bodies and really enjoying it - thought the segments set in the future are the weakest which I think is down to the actors

    [Politics] Elderly people in supermarkets

I remember when I Iived in New York they opened an Amazon Go convenience store which had fresh food, snacks and general stuff. No scanning at all, you just walked out the exit with the goods you had bought and they automatically debited your account for the amount. Couldn't be any simpler.

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

That's quite right. Most people seem more interested in Strictly, Bake Off and getting their triple cheeseburger from Deliveroo than showing the slightest interest in what's going on in this country. That is of course their right but it doesn't bode well for the future. If the Tories get...
