Some of the stuff that VAR is being used for is fairly black and white. Whether a player is in an offside position (whether they're actually offside can be more opinion based), or whether there was actually contact for a perceived handball or foul for example.
The fact we couldn't get his loan deal sorted in the summer was incredibly frustrating. Goldson needs to play regularly to develop, it's the only way forwards for him. He's already very good, but playing for the rest of the season in the Championship, as long as he's starting regularly, will be...
Much like the league, I would expect cup regulations include a clause that away capacity can be reduced if both clubs agree to it. No way it'll be full allocation.
Even if it's real, it requires a facial scan that takes about 5 minutes with a handheld laser scanner. I'd suggest that anyone that can get that is probably gonna get access to your phone regardless of how it's secured.
Given the first 11 games took 84 days and the next 11 take 42 days, I think we'll find it much harder to preserve our position. Agree that seeing the bottom six teams suffer is preferable in other teams results.
I can only speak of going to the game, as I get a lift back. On the way to the ground they are not particularly busy and you can certainly get a seat, but there's always enough supporters that you can easily follow the crowd to the stadium. As for going back, I'd imagine it will be a bit busier...
I've found the busses are a bit of a pain on Sundays, as they don't seem to run a lot. Normal method now is to get a 49 and walk the last bit up via Bridge Car Park.
Yup, all of this needs to be done. Would solve a lot of the University carpark issues, although I wonder if they don't want to use the A270 exit due to clashes with the Bridge Carpark traffic?
If it's a dead head and nothing else is at stake (European place etc...) then the two teams get the average of the two league positions I believe. So if tied at 10th, each side gets the average of 10th and 11th place prize money.
Man City beat West Brom 2-1 in the last round, presumably using the same make of ball. And that was away. Didn't seem impossible to score with it then?
