Yes I was really impressed with the food quality, far nicer than I'd anticipated! And it was absolutely piping hot when I got it, had to wait for it to cool off.
Sadly I can’t eat the pies any more because my body decided gluten would make me pretty ill, but they’ve got a gluten free option this year in a variety of stew type things. This week it was a mushroom ragout, and was honestly pretty good! Probably want a bit more quantity for £4.60, but the...
In previous seasons I have caught the trains from London Road with little to no issue, and usually an 8 carriage (despite the fact that it’s too long for Moulsecoomb). Yesterday was only a four carriage and it was a rather interesting experience. Doesn’t help that people don’t move down the...
WSU north entrance. Two stewards/volunteers moved along queue and checked I had a COVID pass but didn’t actually scan it with phone to validate. No ID check.
Kept my see through carrier bag from the shop, and staff perfectly happy as they could see inside. Should have thought of that years...
As others have said, big shortages everywhere in hospitality. Students may help at the Amex, but there’s a much bigger gap to fill than previous seasons.
Looking at it yesterday, Sodexo pay £8.30ish-10 an hour. Suspect that may move upwards if students don’t plug all the gaps.
Yes. I have 243, my dad has 246 (he went to an FA Cup game I couldn’t get to). It’s available if you login to the ticket site, click your name in the top right corner, and then scroll to My Profile where it lists your available points underneath your address.
It’s not very prominent though, I...
No issue with buying the programme, although I did have to do chip and pin as the contactless seemed to be playing up.
I missed the scratch off half time tickets, but was told they might be back in November.
WSU, joined the queue about 4.30 at the south entrance. Was a pretty substantial queue and we were told that COVID check was being binned to move the queue along.
Would estimate about 25% of people going through at the same time as me had some sort of issue, although I was absolutely fine...
Don’t even need the double jab yet. The club will accept a negative lateral flow test via the NHS app.
ID is, honestly, annoying just to confirm I haven’t logged someone into my NHS account on a different phone, but it’s no more than an annoyance.
Ah so it may well just be an issue with the system itself? That's good to know! He's just not very up on technology, so isn't particularly happy about the new system compared to the old smartcard.
I believe because he wasn't aware there were T&Cs, or he simply missed them. He wasn't intentionally not accepting them, he just tried to load in the ticket prior to having accepted them and it all glitched out.
Got it working fine on my iPhone, but my dad has Android and has the “can only be downloaded to one device” issue, but it’s not present in his Google Pay app. He thinks it might have got stuck as he’d not accepted some of the Google Pay T&Cs.
Is there any advice on fixing this, or is he going...
Just chiming in to say that BNthree and thedonkeycentrehalf are dead on. If you don't mind paying the subscription and you're already comfortable with 365 then its the way. The alternatives are pretty serviceable, but if you're coming from 365 you may find things don't quite work the way you want.
There is some drop over 6 months, but it's relatively small. Pfizer trial data suggests a drop to about 84% against any symptomatic COVID infection, and around 97% against serious infection (which is roughly equal to the data closer to vaccination).
