I could have saved a ton of money doing it myself but I bought off a guy in Kent that imports, took the easy route but now I know a bit more about how it works I would probably have a go at doing it myself next time..mind, after 4 years I'm still loving the one I've got and can't see any reason...
Love Japanese imports...on my second van from Japan, was a toss up between the Alphard and Elgrand, I went with the Elgrand, amazing bit of kit, had it 4 years now, great family car...
Not my furthest but....!! Got weekend leave on Saturday Morning from Portland, rode up to Sheffield on my 250cc Superdream for a shag and then back to Portland on the Sunday. 550 mile round trip...
Teaspoon every time but for a very good reason. Don't often have cereal but I'm on a diet and when I do have it I am only allowed 40g. I eat it with a teaspoon to make it last longer... 6 Stone gone forever, 7 by Christmas... I'm on it!
Not a band but a singer.. Susan Cadogan, reggae singer from the 70's. One of her albums was amongst a whole bunch of Ska and Reggae vinyl I bought recently. Absolutely brilliant and have bought more of her albums since.
Personally I wouldn't buy a genuine one because that will have been awarded to someone else who you don't know. I would go the route of replica medals and be proud to wear them on the right. Enjoy the day. I know quite a few guys who wear replicas on parade for fear of losing their original...
I did it the other way round..my ship stayed down South and we did a crew change so I sailed from the Falklands upto Ascension on the Uganda then Crab air to Brize...
Not that you've asked me either but I loved my time, 81-89...It never leaves you. Would go back tomorrow if I could. Don't give up, get through training and it gets easier and more fun although to be fair the training never bothered me and I was never home sick. Best thing I ever did.
I to was...
Pure luck, I was up and out early on Saturday on me bike...ended up in Southsea for a cuppa and she was just out at Spithead buoy coming in..great sight, made my day. It was 9am, not a WAFU to be seen, still in their pits!!!....
The Jam's final gig at Brighton, I was in the Navy and at sea...was and still gutted to have missed it. I'm from Woking so they were always our local band....
