If Leo had put away that header just before half time we may well have gone on to win.............or maybe lose 2-3, who knows?
I put the blame on our opponents who went and scored more goals than we did.
If I ever go back to Venice I hope I won't remember that remark and stand by the gondoliers wondering who might be close by sat on the bog that very moment listening.
Hotel Kette was fine for us. www.hotelkette.com/
Illness will keep me at home this evening though have ticket so I expect I'll be counted as attending! With it on tv softens the blow of not being there. But no balti pie...........:tantrum:
Shouldn't think so, as I recall from many years back (but can't remember what I had for lunch nowadays) that water expands by 1/9th when it freezes, so it should take up less space in the glass.
But maybe I remember wrongly.
Saw the film version of Les Mis a couple of days ago as love the songs. Russell Crowe actually had me laughing his acting and singing were so bad. Would have walked out if I hadn't been watching it at home.
Looks like being tricky along the prom for tomorrow's Brighton Half Marathon. I shall be marshalling at the safety of the finish line. That's if there still is a finish line...............
I almost posted about that after I saw it live. Had been watching last 30 minutes and noting Ballotelli was only walking around and moaning. Then he did THAT and made me call out. What a stonker!
Wished we had a player like that then I remembered JFC's goal against Doncaster :-)
I first saw the Leeds away shirts when we played them away first game of the season. I thought that is something not to look forward to seeing later in the season. I think I read somewhere it is 'biscuit' coloured.
update: according to the Leeds website it is Gold.
Don't think you could better when Walcott and Wilshere came on together for Arsenal at the Amex. But Bobby Zamora would beat that. Maybe for El Ab's testimonial..........
