Going to put all my moans about todays game in one post -
RDZ - play your best team from the start - game probably would have been won by half time if Pedro and Mitoma had started (then you can rest them for second half)
Please don't play Lallana - his lack of pace completely slows us down -...
I'm not sure about this referee today but what is shocking is the lack of consistency from ref to ref.
Against Fulham the ref blew to stop play every time a Fulham played laid prone on the pitch , today the ref waived play on when Joao Pedro laid down clutching his head. What is the actual rule...
Leicester having a mini wobble , which is nice. However, I think they will make it automatically along with one from Ipswich, Leeds or Southampton (probably Leeds). The play offs are always very hard to predict.
Sheff Wed in a little trouble at the other end :)
To be fair they have a great ability to beat the "lesser teams" - even if it is by a small margin. This year they have beaten Brentford, Luton, Forest, Wolves, Fulham, Burnley & Sheff U and if it continues it will probably ensure them another top six finish.. A skill I wish we were a bit better at.
I don't think its contained to away fans. As a neutral I recently visited Ashton Gate and noted about 15 young Bristol City fans spend the whole game standing up goading the Ipswich support. It's really is pathetic to watch and I felt really sorry for the fans who were sat behind them and unable...
Obviously everything depends on our result tomorrow but apart from Man U smashing Luton 1-0 things have been quite rosy this weekend so far.
Palace losing at home to a tepid Everton (but somehow still not slipping below 12th) , Spurs throwing a 1-0 lead away in added time, Leicester losing...
Agree about Man City but very amusing to hear the media darlings of Spurs moaning about VAR decisions and injuries (especially after the great VAR debacle at White Hart Lane last season v us) and then losing after leading at 90 minutes :ROFLMAO:
Wolves are surprising everyone with home wins...
It might have been caused by viewing a TV clip after our second goal when a few Brighton fans seemed to be watching on impassionate - which did look a bit odd to be fair.
So if we lose you think Man U, Brentford, Chelsea & Palace are going to win and (Palace) overtake us on goal difference ? Good odds for that to happen.
I still maintain that we relegated Palace with a 3-0 win at Selhurst in 1981. Apparently Palace were so bad that season they were already mathematically relegated before this game. However, Its not how I remember it.
I hope you fully recover quickly and I am sorry to shatter your world. Its nice to live in a dream world at times - Sometimes I still believe we will win a major trophy
If we continue to use VAR for offside can't it be changed next season to only use the feet of the players , as Dunk's feet appeared to be onside but his body judge offside ! I would also say that if the two lines drawn between attacker and defender appear to touch then the decision should always...
In addition to time wasting has the early season initiative to yellow card players that kick away the ball after the whistle now finished in November ? I saw Everton do it on at least 3 occasions yesterday - all the Brighton players pointed it out to the ref who did nothing.
