6 of the top 10 biggest sports stadiums in the world, are US college football grounds.
Michigan holds just under 110,000. Penn State, 107,000, Tennessee, 103,000, Ohio 103,000 Alabama 102,000, Texas 100,000.
Have managed to visit a good amount of them on my travels and they are pretty...
Thought some folks might find this interesting from today. Have become a big American Football fan since moving to the US and often come against the argument that it's too boring to watch, etc...
Alabama are reigning national champions were ranked #1 in the college football standings, Auburn...
Like it so far!
They've been playing a bunch of secret shows around LA the last few days. Shut down the street near Hollywood Blvd last night for a few show at the Capitol Tower, and there's a band called 'The Reflektors' playing the Palladium tomorrow.. might go check out the show!
See ya, Rangers!
Very excited for some October baseball in LA. Headed to Dodger Stadium on Sunday for game 3 to see the Braves get dispatched of 3-0 :)
Slowed down my 4S a fair amount. Have since snagged a 5S and is SO quick that i'm pretty amazed.
Very impressed with it all around and like the design a lot. As an additional plus, it's 10pm right now, having unplugged my phone this morning at 7am and used a decent amount for email/web/apps...
You're welcome ;)
Really though, definitely think you've taken the best option (direct flights aside). Travel around 250,000 miles a year and South American routing is always the biggest headache for me..
I'd suggest look at going via Miami - it's the primary American Airlines hub that serves South America - you'll get better prices as a layover, can fly BA LHR-MIA and then connect to wherever you need on American. Plus you can plan a Miami stopover :)
Very sad news! A true Albion legend... used to spend a fortune on the Albion line, and i've just sat here in the coffee shop i'm in and watched a bunch of youtube videos that someone cut his commentary too. Definitely brings a tear to the eye hearing his Hereford commentary again...
Most of the high end hotels on the strip are very, very nice.
I'd usually go for The Cosmopolitan - i think the best there currently. If you're going there for the weather then i'd pick by the best pools... Caeser's Palace has some great pools including an 'adult pool' that has topless parties...
