Have just gone through the whole season without winning a game. The much maligned former Albion Legend (irony!) Graeme Smith has been their first choice goalie. Who can forget his rallying cry of “aweeeeeeeeeeeeeyy” as sublimely threw the ball upfield and straight into touch. I seem to remember...
Ah , that would work if my mate’s bike wasn’t a hand painted rat bike (he never rides his decent one to the Amex), and the one locked to it was a practically brand new Giant, probably cost about £500.
By the Numpty who locked his/her bike to my mates bike in the racks last night. We waited 20 minutes after the match for the owner to reappear, before speaking to a steward who got his boss to very efficiently release my mates bike by means of an angle grinder. Looked quite an expensive lock ...
I have cycled regularly to the Amex since 2011. Now find I have to get there earlier in order to get an under cover bike rack. It is by far and away the quickest, healthiest way of getting to matches. I’ve got an e-bike now, which does make the journey a tad easier for the 72 year old legs
I think it makes perfect sense, after all Chris Hughton has only:
1st Season - rescued us from almost certain relegation
2nd Season - got us into the playoffs
3rd Season - got us into the best league in the world
And as for the Chairman - what’s he ever done for Brighton and Hove Albion?
Yes...
I think I joined around 2005, I know it was when I still working. Yes I’d love to stay up, but having gone through the highs and very lows of the last 60 years convinces me that even if we get relegated, the club is in a very sound position to bounce straight back up.
BUT WERE STAYING UP - RIGHT!1
