The bitcoin phenomena is mad. Who would have thought that something so easy to mine would have made us all multimillionaires in the spaces for a few years. I worked in IT and my colleagues and i were talking about bit coin in the 2008s/2009s and we just snubbed it. Boy do i regret that...
The chances are it will come to nothing however the unique selling point being that it is the first mobile mined crypto. Plus it don't cost or take more than a second a day to start mining.
Bit coin had the exact same response. We shall see. I reckon it may end up a dollar a coin.
James O'Brien - How not to be wrong
His first book 'How to be right in a world gone wrong' was interesting. I remember all of the callers from his radio show.
This story seemed gutting even back then... losing 7.5m worth of bitcoin...

Now Bit coins peak would have been worth £262,500,000. Wonder how this guy feels now. Not seen any recent stories about him.
i've been umming and arring about bit coin back in the days when it was $500 and everytime i thought it had peaked. Then when it dropped it never dropped enough for me. As Tom says i just haven't got it out of my head that BIT coin is just a number of characters on a pc. Gold is tangible, shares...
i'm a sentimental old fool but i loved the withden.
1) Parking in a side road and getting to my seat in about 10 mins.
2) Drinks at the Brewery Tap
3) Swindon Play off Semi (best game) Swindon should have won... Hit the, you're going to hit the bar. Skidding across a very wet pitch on my...
I am at my old mans so we are trying to make the most of it, but hard to enjoy it knowing so many people (friends and family are alone)
I did enjoy the walk up to cissbury ring with my little boy...
How times have changed.... forgotten about the last two decades? Losing ground, almost out of the football league, sharing with gillingham... things must pretty sweet if being in the prem, out of the relaxation zone and playing some quality football against Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea. If fans...
Weird reply... surbiton doesn’t have a hospital. I was just asking as it may have had one years ago. My gran was born in Kingston and I live here and have done for 20 years so was just being curious... no need to be defensive
I don't know how our poste completes his round. The friendliest, loveliest guy. Chats to everyone. Knows all the families names. Infact my kids look like him too (joke)
Always give an xmas card with a tenner in. Have done for years.
I do fear for the younger generation. House prices are ridiculous, Jobs are declining, Salaries barely increasing, pensions reduced, the mass debt of covid crippling them and the one job for life model a distant memory. The only way around this mess is to give a universal income, but i am sure...
I found my mood definitely gets lower during the evening/night. Same as you though i found that if i went for a nice walk in some along the river, or in the woods and just tried to clear my mind it would help. I do miss the gym, as i find that good for escapism, so it is good that they will open...
Thanks mate. NSC really does help. I know that so many people are all currently fighting there own little battles and morale is so low, however seeing that you aren't alone is a great help.
It’s been a very turbulent year for me. It started off well not having to commute to central London for work which I hated. It really felt like I had struck gold. However in April my grandad caught covid in his nursing home and passed away (he was 85 and had underlining issues). They tried to...
