I would guess they are leaving room in the South West corner for access whilst they finish work on the new South corporate section. Once all the big stuff is in position they will finish off the corner.
It would have been good if they could have extended Dicks bar out in the same style so it has a viewing balcony onto the pitch for non match days. When I have taken friends and family up there on non match days they always ask if there is a viewing point to see the inside whilst having a coffee.
Good to see the trialists are still with us. Hopefully one or two of them turn out to be quality and get signed. Now its back to 7 subs we could do with an extra player or two in the squad.
Years ago when at UWE I used to watch Rovers play at Bath. Never thought for 1 minute they would end up playing at UWE. Hopefully it will mean they get back on level terms with City.
A friend of mine worked on Cern a few years back during the construction stage. I can remember discussing the rights and wrongs of spending so much money employing so many really clever people on the project. I can remember being a bit shocked when he said it was a good way of keeping all the...
I think the plan with a Crawley groundshare would have been a withdean style south stand at the Broadfield. This would have taken capacity above 7000. I noticed the other week that Crawley finally got round to doing it ready for league 1 football.
If Vicente don't want to come back then lets just call it a day and move on. Any fee we get for him will be a bonus and will go some way to bringing the next Vicente to the Amex.
I had one as a hire car from Heathrow airport. Not that impressed even if cheap(ish), but you could see that with a bit more investment and design these imports from China could find a place in the European market.
I think only having a squad of 18 and playing games in a short space of time swayed the decision to youth rather than giving Becks a place. Shame as the olympic football will be poorer for it. I'd imagine the sponsors are a bit pissed off as well.
This has the bad smell of a greedy agent trying to play clubs off against each other to get the best deal. Hopefully by activating the extra year clause we have stuffed his agents plans where the sun don't shine.
I've just read the club statement and this was my take on it before reading this thread. Vicente / agent have talked to another club after making positive noises to us. We activate 2nd year clause to protect our position. It may mean Vicente won't play another game for us, but if he goes to...
English football is not world class. Rooney would struggle to get into most teams in the tournament solely based on the 2 performances he put in. English football at international level needs a big kick up the rear end.
maybe sticking sky in the north frees up a couple more executive boxes in the south for extra income. Could be built into the extra office space that has been created in the North roof space that has been built this summer. kind of makes sense to do this.
surprised the club have not launched a second away kit this season as an extra money spinner. I'm hoping the training kit for this season will look good as that always makes a nice xmas present for my nephew.
