Trouble is half the capital connect trains are now the old 'proper' southern ones that fall over at the first sign of a snowflake! I fully expect train carnage by midday tomorrow.
The other factor to throw in is that the Amex has top notch tv facilities including the new studio which makes it an attractive venue for broadcasters.
Blackburn match was earmarked a while ago but I think there may be delays. Still looks like quite a bit to do especially the new north west upper area. I think the improvements to Falmer station are also required to be finished before full capacity of stadium becomes live.
I can see Mr Bridge being on the first flight to LA come seasons end and landing a juicy final payday at the Galaxy whilst having the pleasure of going home to young Frankie everyday. Lucky bastard!
I had a 1/4 cheeseburger at Burger King Arnhem at midnight. Thought it tasted a bit cold & raw but gave it the benefit of doubt as I was in europe and thought this is how they eat them here. Spent the next 3 days in hotel room making full use of toilet facilities. Never had a BK or Mcd's since.
I reckon we will get about 22k tomorrow. The west upper will be about half full. Also big gaps between the toon fans and us. Still a pretty good turnout considering the price, time and tv coverage.
always thought the club shop is missing a trick by not selling Albion Ale, Dark Star and piglets pies ready for cooking. I'd also like to see Dark Star and Harveys branded clothing in there to supplement all the other Albion related merchandise.
Arrived in Blackburn. Its been absolutely pissing down here for hours according to the locals. There must be a bit of doubt if game will go ahead if the rain does not stop soon.
I think they are going to resurface the handcross stretch tonight in both directions and not a moment too soon! it has fallen apart in the last few months.
Trotter would fit right in to the way we play. Would give CMS the support he needs and offer the big physical hold it up role if required. He stopped Bridcutt from having too much influence as well in our build up play.
