[Football] So what was the point in signing the Colombian bloke?

Is Murray complaining he didn't get a pass ?

    [TV] Dad's Army

Amazing ! I've been watching it since it began (50 years ?) and I've just watched an episode that I had never seen before.

    [Travel] Driving to Stoke

The Chelsea weekend it should have been shut but wasn't - expected cold weather. Last Saturday after West Ham, it was and the detour is right through to Falgate and north to M25J6 - took ages. I'm hoping its open after the cup tie.

[Albion] Surely we should sell Coventry some more FA Cup tickets ?

Apparently, Coventry's second biggest Ricoh crowd was 31000 or so for a Checkatrade area final a few years' ago and they took more than that to Wembley for the final last season. However, home gates are usually around 7-8k as many don't want to fund SISU (rightly)

    [Albion] Glenn Murray

He probably got it from Wikipedia, which says Glenn scored 8 league goals in 2007-8, when, in fact he scored 9.

    [Albion] Glenn Murray

Not sure if Nicky Forster has had a mention yet - but I thought he was a very clinical striker who had a good partnership with GM at one time (Scored 51 in total)

    Top 7:- Tommy Cook scored 123 (114 League) Kit Napier 99 (84) Peter Ward 95 (81) Bert Stephens 94 (86) - think some were in wartime Albert Mundy 90 (87) - also before my time Glenn Murray 90 (85) Bobby Z 90 (83)

    [Albion] Top flight doubles

Believe it or not, the last time we were in the top flight, we didn't meet Chelsea once.

[Albion] Are you in favour of giving Coventry a bigger than 15% allocation?

City fans might be having second thoughts after their trip to Nailsworth yesterday !!

    [Albion] Glenn Murray

89 goals, in total, for Albion now. Just one behind Bobby Zamora and closing on the top two in my time, Kit Napier(99) and Peter Ward (95) Anybody think he might crack the ton ? I'm not expecting it this season, but he has another year on his contract, I believe.

    [Albion] Leo Ulloa [IS BACK]

Agree with this. I always thought he was a bit too slow the last time round and he is never as sharp as Murray. The only thing on his side is the history and the (slight) age difference.

    [Albion] Leo Ulloa [IS BACK]

Will that be it for new strikers then ? Perhaps we might splash out on a creative playmaker instead.

Which was the other one ?

    [Albion] Leo Ulloa [IS BACK]

I think you'll find that was his only penalty for us. He certainly never scored from one - spanish Dave took them most of the time.

    [Albion] Leo Ulloa [IS BACK]

There is no way I have ever thought that Ulloa is better than Murray - even when Leo was playing for us and we had let Glenn go to Palace.
