Not to take anything away from our achievement (would I?), but we probably couldn't have had an easier path to the semi-final. Only drawn against one Premier League team.
No, I stayed to the end … and have never left before the end of any Albion game … nor headed off to the bar 5 minutes before half time. I too usually believe it's great to win, but this time I felt really flat. It was embarrassing see a Premier League team playing such crap football.
That has to be up there with the worst Albion performances of all time. We couldn't pass (constantly passing to Millwall players or straight into touch), some comedy defending, seemingly no game-plan or structure, failure to win defensive headers … and all this with our strongest team against a...
Think I agree with ENREST on this (always a first time for everything). If Brighton supporters were indeed acting like louts in the ground (and I've seen plenty of that at away games - unfortunately), then possibly the police have some justification.
The M23 does not go as far south as Brighton and it doesn't go as far north as Croydon, so definitely not the M23 derby. If you must, then the A23 derby, as that road joins both towns.
What about the one white woman in an audience full of black people? Would you address her as "the white woman", or would you go all PC and address her as "the woman in the red dress with the glasses"? Seems to me that referring to her as the white woman would be the quickest and easiest way of...
Another game of two halves. We were shocking in the first half (one of the poorest and most boring 45 mins of football I can recall), but quite a bit better in the second half. Even then we did little to show that we're really good enough for this league.
Ryan 7. Dealt with a couple of decent...
No idea what game you guys who gave Stephens good scores were watching. He had an extremely poor game. Constantly passing backwards or sideways when forward options available, very poor passing on a number of occasions including straight to an opponent, and a complete failure to control the ball...
Agree entirely. It's no fun constantly seeing you team lose whether you're there in person or following the game online or on the radio. Expecting to win (and usually doing so) in the Championship was enjoyable. Scraping a few wins in the Premier League is not enjoyable.
Something needs to...
