    [Albion] Premier League 9-10/12/23

100% I’m also hoping they get serious, ‘player unsettling’ offers for Luiz, Watkins, McGinn and Martinez in January and Arsenal realise they need to get Emery back.

    [Albion] Games on my own

Very much relate. What caused the change from being ‘able to do it’ to struggling with it, if that’s not too personal a question?

    [Albion] Positives from Today (Burnley)

Plenty of leg room with all the empty seats. Looks like we don’t need a bigger ground after all. A smaller one maybe.

Can’t stand Villa or Arsenal but will take Villa for this one. 1-0

    [Albion] Games on my own

As a social anxiety sufferer I do a fair few games solo. The Amex concourses can be taxing, lots of people in a relatively small space.

    [Albion] Premier League 9-10/12/23

Is any other player referred to in commentary by their first name as much, if at all, as Trent Alexander-Armstrong? Is his surname that much of a mouthful? Would it happen to a non big six England national team player? Just another example of very subtle ‘big six’ high profile player bias...

[Albion] Back in the days before the internet

1989 a mate and I were travelling around the USA and one of the first ports of call in any town/city we arrived at was finding the local library where they usually had a copy of The Times, the only way we could find out the football news. A couple of games into that season we beat West Ham I...

Any Gmail users noticed that the ‘Bin’ is now called ‘Trash’ ? I think I’ll ‘go watch’ a ‘season’ of something on Netflix to calm down, or maybe a ‘movie’ ... :moo::falmer:

[Albion] Pascal Groß the raumdeuter - officially leaves for Dortmund :(

I did have a wry smile at the highlighted bit of RDZ’s quote from yesterday: He [Hinshelwood] played another great game,” said De Zerbi. “He plays like an older player. Jack is the ‘son’ of Pascal Gross but he has personality, he can play in every position and he is smart. He works like Pascal...

[Albion] How many saw Jack Hinshelwood's first Albion goal?

Pretty naive to think it isn’t a factor. For the elderly, people of all ages with circulation issues like Raynaud’s etc. sitting outside for two hours in 7 degree temperatures isn’t a particularly pleasant experience no matter how wrapped up you are.

[TV] Netflix - What's good to watch?

Is it better than Undercover? Enjoyed S1 of Undercover, although it’s a bit comical at times. Didn’t bother with S2 because of bad reviews.

    [Albion] Sanchez v Dunk

In a social media age so much of it is driven by ‘brand’ and status, especially for many young footballers imho. Turning up at St George’s Park for an England camp as a BHA, Palace or Brentford player as opposed to global brands like Chelsea, Liverpool etc is I imagine significant for many...

    [Albion] Sanchez v Dunk

Come on, let’s be realistic about the relative statures of our two clubs, as Westander says, I never bought into the ‘he would have stayed debate,’ he only ever had eyes for Chelsea, we’re a Premier League club on paper, but drop back down and we’ll revert to relative insignificance on a par...
