    The Vaccine Thread

I'm not so sure ... I've not seen that data either (80-95) If it were 80 going to 95 then there are huge reasons to do it. The fear is it is x% rising to x% after 21 days but x% rising to a number (not quantified) less than the 21 day x% after 12 weeks. I'm sticking with the manufacturer...

    The Vaccine Thread

Why wouldn't Pfizer publish it if they had it though? All matey said was there is data to show it's effective .... I think one of the concerns is not that 12 weeks might render it ineffective, but that the effectiveness diminishes somewhat/moderately/greatly and nothing he said dismisses that...

    [Albion] Premier League 26-28/01/21

Agree ... and if we could beat Fulham then there's the potential for just 4 points to be separating 12th-17th, and an 8 point gap to the 3 bottom places

    [Misc] COVIDIOTS hot spots

That was my point re Oz and NZ, they acted quickly and decisively I've never been an advocate of us closing borders but having a robust testing requirement in place for anyone coming in would certainly have helped. That said we don't have to look to far from our own front doors to see why it...

    [Misc] COVIDIOTS hot spots

TBF Australia and New Zealand more or less haven't had it Slamming the borders shut when tens of thousands are transmitting within our own borders is pretty futile. Nobody in without a negative test (which most places can turn round in 24 hours now) for sure, but unless and until we do...

Happily saying 'Bollox' to that. I'm going back to old normal ... 100% g'teed

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

A step too far imo, but money talks. Other Gov'ts may come under pressure too, only needs one to say 'No Brit's means No Brit's'

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

Interested on views on this. If the Gov introduce mandatory quarantine in hotels as widely reported what happens to Champ League football? I would have thought that if they granted an exception they'd be up for discrimination pretty sharpish, particularly as (some) footballers haven't exactly...

    [Albion] Jose Izquerdo

That makes sense. I assume though that when you get those with a track record like these two fellas then clubs may well offer the deal on the basis that pay is reduced/not paid in the event of injury rather than incurring huge premiums.

Not suggesting that's wrong but insuring the likes of Lallana and Welbeck? I can't imagine an underwriter taking it on. Wonder if it's club or player that pays the premium?

    The Vaccine Thread

I wish I had your confidence! I also see that the leaders in vaccinations (Israel) are proposing to close borders for minimum 14 days There's no doubt the data exists, I would love to see it P.S. Well done on stuffing Fulham today ... despite them missing 4/5 of their best hope it has their...

    [Albion] Simon Rusk leaving.

Watch out for a whole list of recently ex players suggested for job 1/2 - Bruno Evens - Calde 5/1 - Murray 5/1 - Crofts 20/1 - Knockaert 100/1 Billy Painter

    [Albion] Form table

It's certainly not a disaster in terms of what the league table will look like after the game but I think it could well be another nail in the coffin of confidence. Beating Leeds would have been a huge uplift but we've failed to beat anyone below us. That monkey needs to be got off our back I...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Blackpool *** Official Match Thread ***

I see I'm in a minority but worried for that team purely from the risk of injuries. I would rather we benched (or left out completely) at least 3 of that starting line up
