I thought he offered more in the first 20 minutes from open play than Skalak tends to do in a match (certainly from an attacking perspective). That said, you could well be right re: fitness and maybe worth him being in the bench as he is a potential game-changer should we need one.

Not sure it is. I couldn't care less about win percentages to be honest as it is all about tournament football. Venables' team was the last one to do anything of note at a major tournament. Since then, we've done well in friendlies, qualifiers etc and then underperformed when it really matters...

Really?? So Stockdale number one, Walton two and Ankergren 3? Just don't see the point personally - if we were down to our third choice keeper, we would definitely bring in a loan so why bother having Ankergren unless he is going to combine with youth coaching role of some sort?
