No. Lewis decided to try and win a penalty by diving to the floor when if he'd stayed upright he would have had a very clear header in the centre of the 6 yard box. Understandable after last week but a shame.
I said on here a few weeks ago that Albion were playing the best football of any team on the planet.
We always used to sing about BrightNanOveAlbion FC being "by far the greatest team the world has ever seen" back in Div 3 days... now it's true.
Happily now the job is complete. Just waiting for delivery of replacement seat.
Things I think I have learned:
1. Try and avoid overtightening the bolts if possible.
2. Hacksaws are good at cutting metal and are sharper than they seem.
3. Hold the piece of metal being cut with pliers...
Thanks very much for advice so far.
Update is that I am the proud owner of a new junior hacksaw. I'm not sure it is any better than the one I already had as I think I misunderstood how sharp they are meant to be.
Point now is that it is actually impossible to cut through the bolt as not enough...
How do I remove this old fitting when the nut underneath won't turn? I can't grip the round bit on top tight enough with pliers to hold it. Have tried WD4O on nut.
Advice very welcome as replacement seat arriving tomorrow.
Sounds shit. There was a small group of blokes in NS on Saturday - obviouly new fans, stood in front of NSK - desperately trying to get some crap ultra chant going...
Pleased to see more action on the thread. Hopefully some longstanding Albion fans will get to the game as a result. I'm hoping to help out my new friend @POSKETT AT THE VALLEY who I am confident is not a United fan in disguise.... 😀
