Remember Euro 96 when England lost to Germany all the Audi, BMW and Volkswagens the intelligent people could find all took a hit  I feared for the local Tapas last night although all windows were intact this morning.
I wish the players would stop protecting Southgate. Only a few players looked upset last night the others looked like they expected it to happen. When we lost the semi to Manure we left everything out on that pitch you can’t say the same about England last night.
Midfield was full of holes the gap between defence and midfield was getting bigger as the game went on. Maino coming off exposed the problem and Spain got the winner. Southgate hasn’t got a clue how to fix the most basic of in game problems.
A few years ago we looked at a 5 storey house in a square near the front which needed a full refurb can’t remember the name of it. The deal wasn’t great and I remember a group downing special brew in the square, not what you want to look at whilst eating your cornflakes.
Great game until Stockdale watched the ball go into the net. I was right behind the goal and even I could have caught that.
Going back to the question one night at the Palace, day of work drinking all day probably the last time all the old lot got together on mass.
Great day had by all.
Instead of thinking if England beat Spain it will be against all odds, with the players Southgate has in the England squad it’s Spain who should be quaking.
£Millions of talent at his disposal and he plays like Burnley under Dyche pathetic.
For a club that primarily signs and improves youngsters I’m not getting the happy to sell. He’s 22 played only one PL season did well scored six in play goals, if we take Pedro’s pens away he’s not that far behind considering he went to AFCON.
Surely that’s a great base for him to improve this...
I wonder if the OP will have as much gusto if England get spanked by Spain, the first real test of the competition.
Tactically Southgate will be outdone his only hope is to drag Spain down to his level and make them play like they are at Stoke on a cold wet Tuesday night.
Rough up Lamal early...
