I for one welcome all new supporters to our club. I really cannot understand why anoyone thinks it is a bad thing for us to be growing our fan base. Attendances have always risen after promotions and dropped after relegations, for this club, and all others. We need to keep growing our fan base...
Before yesterday, if someone had offered me the choice of beating Lincoln but loosing to Huddersfield or loosing to Lincoln but beating Huddersfield, I would have taken the second choice. No brainier for me
Preston have an interesting next four games coming up:
Brighton (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Norwich (A)
Newcastle (A)
I wonder how many points they are expecting?
Away at Southend in the League Cup last year a guy behind me was trying to get this going:
(To the tune of 'Pass the Dutchie')
Pass the football down the left hand side,
Pass the football down the left hand side,
It's Gaetan Bong, he plays for Brighton & Hove Albion,
It's Gaetan Bong, He plays...
No you don't.
Some fans leave early for whatever reason, some stay to the end. Some fans sing, some don't. Some leave the game after 40 minutes to get a pint at half time, some don't. Some fans wear replica shirts past the age of 40....whatever. I don't care. Some fans clap the away fans...
Are the people who are concerned with this the same people who dislike the club putting up the posters in the away end thanking the opposition fans for making their journey of xxx miles to attend the game? Anytime someone uses the argument that something either the club does or the fans do makes...
Yeah, right. Like we could go through 46 games and the outcome of whether we get promoted or not would be decided by a goal difference of one or two goals...
