I was quietly confident of a result although not anymore. Baleba must have a knock as there can be no other logical reason for him not to start.

It was an even game. They were just more clinical than us so I’m not too disheartened with the win. I see palace went full strength and lost 2 important players to injury so I think Hurzeler made the right decision to make so many changes.

A very promising full debut against a strong team. He arguably did enough to warrant a start on Saturday but I’d understand if Hurzeler puts Kadioglu on the right again for more defensive solidity.

Strand Larsen could have been sent off for kicking the ball away after he pulled back Mitoma but overall I thought the referee had a good game.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like he’s had a bit of a setback with his recovery.
