I didn't want to go full 'tinfoil hat' while picking at the thread title but this was certainly one aspect I was dancing around re sensationalised reporting of events.
Of course none of it bears thinking about.
For me very, very low down on the list of 'what's wrong with the world' is perfectly summed up with how you start that reply.
'wasn't meant to be sensationalist' and 'I am just over worrying'.
You're entitled to be over worried by something that just...
No offence was meant, but for obvious reasons that kind of sensationalising title to a serious, yet incredibly rare event, is another troubling trend that has become 'normal'.
Naturally I can't just say that and have to use a glib side eye instead!
The title is a simple blunt statement of fact without a single grammatical cue to suggest otherwise, a fact I challenged as did most other comments after mine and yet I get singled out in quite a snide fashion.
As this isn't the thread for a back and forth on this that's me done.
Why?
It's a sensational thread title to which I and just about everybody else have said doesn't really have any validity.
Which in turn is pretty much the dictionary definition of The Mail OnLine's content.
I think he would be all the better for it.
He's had a pretty meteoric rise, has very much had his own way, he's been championed by the best and has 'drunk the Kool-aid'.
Some of RDZ'z negative comments, his touchline antics and his commitment to his one style irrespective of opposition and his...
What I wanted to write but had I done some absolute weapon on here would be feverishly finding a local news story about an errant cyclist in order to somehow prove me 'wrong'.
Sorry but no.
I'm too old, too tired and despite my phenomenal hair, to depressed to go through all that again.
As much as I hate the Premier League, I somehow manage to hate breaks from it, yet the thought of the Albion playing what'll seem like 3 times a day, will have me retreating to my...
I know @Brightonfan1983 wanted to watch the film again before continuing with the doc, I didn't feel the need, but maybe that's because RoboCop is so ingrained with me.
The sound guys alone must reference 20 other films from which they took their cues, all of which are cut into the doc.
An odd thing to write about one of the greatest films ever made!
As said at the time I was watching, I think it's the best 'making of' I've ever seen.
No stone left unturned and at no point is it dull.
All of that aspect alone makes it highly recommended but that's without a whole other layer...
