Agree with your points on both Igor and Lamptey. I think Igor's played well in each game he's played this season. Lamptey though?! Absolutely shocking defensively. He's just not a PL standard full back.

Personally think it's not as big a loss as it would have been a couple of years ago, I'm happy with Van Hecke and Igor at the back. Not as big a loss as Joao Pedro is or if we were to lose Welbeck, Baleba or Verbruggen for a while. The problem will come if one of Van Hecke or Igor get injured...

And by the way, Igor did nothing wrong, he defended that exactly as he should do and any coach would instruct him to. Likewise, no blame attached to Hurzeler, at the elite level, you don’t expect a player to make that error that Wieffer did. Likewise, he can’t legislate for individual error’s...

That was really bad on Saturday, I was annoyed as anyone at the time and clearly his head had gone after that mistake which was why he made that further error but I’ve seen enough that he’s a decent player and will turn out to be a good signing. I’m confident that there will be a lot of posters...
